What's with the tree? Minimize

We sometimes get asked 'What's with the tree?".

The tree is one of the symbols of knowledge, which fits in well with eLearning, and our tree represents knowledge at your fingertips.  However, there's a more pertinent reason for choosing the tree as Canopi's flag.

We live and work in the lush, sub-tropical bush on NSW's mid-north coast. Over the years the view from our office window has changed considerably (and for the better), and we draw a parallel between what we do and the nourishment and protection provided to young trees by the forest's canopy. Without a doubt, the success of any eLearning project is directly linked to the planning and guardianship it receives in the early stages, as well, of course, to the quality of stewardship over its life. Canopi more than appreciates this - the well-planned and executed eLearning project is our calling card and why we're now the preeminent eLearning designers on the eastern seaboard.

And, in case you were wondering, the 'i' in Canopi is for information.

About Canopi Minimize

Canopi helps organisations plan and implement Internet-based training solutions ('eLearning'), and online courseware.

If you're considering eLearning as a training solution, or you want to improve the outcomes for an existing eLearning project, then consider what we can do to help:

  • Show you how to develop a strategic plan
  • Help you determine your organisational readiness by testing if your staff, infrastructure and processes are prepared for online learning
  • Demonstrate a model for the development and running of different types of eLearning solutions, and
  • Educate you about the systems and processes involved in implementing eLearning and, most importantly, your development options

The Canopi Development Model (CDM) is at the core of our business. It forms the basis for all of the services and resources we offer. We us the CDM to:

  • Identify and overcome environmental factors within your organisation (such as learner computer skills and motivation) that affect e-learning outcomes
  • Educate you about the processes and options available through glossaries, articles and a proven model for the development of eLearning solutions
  • Network you with peers who are also developing online training solutions, through discussion forums and other technologies
  • Give you the opportunity to ask any questions about online training and have them answered by people in the industry
